This is a genuine fossillised sharks tooth from the species Odotus. As sharks are predominately soft bodied creatures only teeth and back bone are generally preserved. This sharks tooth dates back from the paleocene to eocene period and is around 50 million years old, it was discovered on the Khouribga Plateau Morocco. The teeth are found during local phosphate mining.
