Brigid's Cross Wooden Amulet

A St Brigid's Cross created here in our own workshop. 

The Brigid’s Cross (or Cros Bhríde) is an ancient Irish symbol deeply rooted in both Celtic pagan tradition and Irish Christianity, traditionally woven from rushes or straw on February 1st (Imbolc). It is primarily recognized as a powerful protective talisman and a symbol of blessing for the home. 

Traditionally hung over the main door, in the rafters, or near windows, the cross is believed to guard the house against evil spirits, negative energy, and misfortune. It is often given as a housewarming gift to bring peace and safety to a new home.
